when the police say how much it's worth, they usually go by how much it sells for in its smallest quantity--a gram; they like to exaggerate too. i'm assuming it was some shitty outdoor which would go for $5-10 a gram at the most. each plant probably had 20-100g worth of buds on it. 100 x 9300 x 10 = $9,300,000. in reality, the people actually growing it were getting rid of it in LARGE quantities which means they are selling it for much less than $10 a gram (probably closer to .50 - 1.00 or maybe less; this is all speculation). this means that the actual growers probably pull in anywhere from $500,000 to $3,000,000.

I think the cops are full of shit in this case.  There have tons of guerilla grows around the area that I live in.  eaton canyon has hosted many a grower.  the crop usually gets busted.  lots and lots of plants

the cops are always full of shit (except sere). i just meant that the way cops get their numbers is by totaling the number of grams and multiplying it by its highest possible street value.
