sup guys

got a friend whose internet has been a bit word for the last few days. msn works fine but any browser says the connection was reset. he can't ping google.com as that says request timed out too. i already told him to try flushing the dns but that hasn't worked either.

it's worth noting he's ... "borrowing?" a neighbour's wireless

suggestions appreciated guys

Call ISP to reset the connection.

lol.  Stealing wireless?  Probably bad or weak signal strength.

But it's been fine for a year+ it's just the last few days it's been doing it. and surely if it was a weak signal msn wouldn't work either?

Maybe some software crap messing up the connections? I would try Crap Cleaner.

Exactly why I secure my network.

Like what was said above, if its not your connection, you can't do much about it.

Refreshing your equipment (Reinstalling adapter's drivers/ Ip release/renew) might help.
