COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2008 We have just had our first look at the Computex halls and as we stepped in the door of Hall 1 we noticed that Enermax had most of their booth ready with products on display.
Enermax was pushing its line of 82+ power supplies and one 625-watt model was powering a server based system that you would normally think you would need a 1000+ watt PSU to operate.
Connected to the system were a grand total of 16 Hitachi SATAI 160GB drives, 16 x 512MB DDR2 Kingston modules, a GeForce 7950GX2 graphics card, four AMD Opteron 8212 quad-core processors and a high-end RAID controller for good measure.
With an amazing 82% efficiency, there is less power loss with the conversation, so you don’t need such a large power supply.
<-- Proud Enermax PSU owner
No-one ever believes me when I try to point out how good they are lol.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
I'm still running my old 535w Enermax NoiseTaker lol.

Lovley PSU.
Corsair pwns you all...
I like enermax, just a bit too pricey. I thought the price of my seasonic was steep but the comparitivly speced enermax was a good 30% more expensive, and seasonic is a high end brand in it's self.

As said, they're manufactured by Seasonic. Plus, well, no, they don't, I tried running my rig on a 520w Corsair and it failed to boot 9 times out of 10, and I've added extra kit to it since then, the old Enermax still keeps on going lol.theelviscerator wrote:

I'd suspect you all have 80Plus PSUs as it is, so the extra 2% isn't all that impressive.
