For the record, I don't like Obama. But I'm indifferent to McCain & Hillary at this point.
Most of you know about Rev. Wright. Obama sets him aside for his political goals.
Then there's Rev. Pfleger, same church. Obama manages to sound like he's doing the people a favor, by distancing himself, setting the church (which he has said was a big part of his life) aside for his political goals.
Fine, I don't have a major problem with that. After all, the preachers aren't running for office.
But then there's this one, which I haven't seen talked about here:

About five paragraphs down, Obama says:
“I can no more disown him than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother – a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.”
Nice, throw your grandma under the bus. Not once, but let's do it all over the media.
Pretty much that sums him up for me. I have a real problem when you end up using your own family in this way.
But is there a pattern? Throw every problem under the bus and move on.
So then there's this in the same link above from Obama's wife:
It is also disturbing to me that Obama’s wife, Michelle, during a speech in Wisconsin last month, said, “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m really proud of my country, because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.”
His answer?

Lay off my wife. Good point. She's not running, yet the microphone is in front of her. Is the bus coming?
