Reading through Tom's hardware, I ran into an interesting paradox. Now I understand how DDR and DDR2 memory clocks work for memory (200 mhz speed for ddr2 translates into 800 mhz overall speed in CPU Z), but looking at a GPU Z screenshot and seeing the accompanying text is really throwing me off.
On the GPU Z screen they have 700 mhz as the clock speed for the memory, but they call out a memory speed of 1666 mhz for the memory in the text of the article. How do they come about with these differences in numbers? Is there some odd multiple that I don't know about?
