I have a .MOV file filmed from a camera that I want to make smaller so I can upload it to facebook. Right now it's 411 MB and the limit on facebook is
300MB...
Is there a way to compress the size whilst still being available for an upload?

Or use windows movie maker and the file will be 20MBs.

There's a ton of video file converting programs out there.  Search for one that accepts .mov files on google.  Then you can convert it to a more compressed format like .wmv

Lots of good results

What i like about VD is you can crop the video and loose unnecessary shit.

Render as .wmv in your movie editor if you didn't already. Failing that download XviD and VirtualDub, open the video in VDub, go to video, compression, XviD, select the compression settings, and then save the video as something else. VDub will render it with the codec and make the file 10-20x smaller.
