BF2S Forums Petition For Hosting Ranked Servers

While that would be cool, it would mean EA would have to charge a monthly fee or something along those lines, because ranked servers aren't free. Everytime an Average Joe made a server, EA would have to pay for the internet it's using, and for the server itself. So, while it would be cool, it's pretty much impossible and not going to happen.

What he is talking about is someone setting up a RANKED server of thier own, most likely at their own house, with their own computer equipment, it its own little case, running off his own electricity, and yes with thier own 'internet'. I don't see how EA would need to pay for anything.

Do i think that is a good think let anyone make a ranked sever err NO ,what is to stop some ****** just starting up a ranked server and doing a bit of stats padding to get there score up we all know there were some clans out there that rented servers and did the same thing although im not sure they were real clans but it still happend so sorry its a BIG NO from me on that one m8.
