So they shouldn't even try? Oh, they just promised that to get elected? *gasp*

Personally I don't think either would win.
Felt what way? Gore has nothing to do with this subject.God Save the Queen wrote:

your arguing on clinton's behalf that she had more votes than obama.
gore had more votes than bush in 2000, you must naturally feel that the popular vote counts more above all else.
too bad I had to point it out, thought youd pick up on what Im talking about.

Can that wrinkly old cunt really beat Obama? Surely not, that said, nothing would surprise me after seeing Bush win a second term.
Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
Uh, no. I never mentioned anyone's vote count in this thread. I said this:God Save the Queen wrote:

... pointing out that elected Dems they have not pursued any measures to pull the troops or restrict funding for the military, though they promised to do just that in order to gain votes. Someone said that their majority was not significant enough to do anything. But they have not even followed through on their campaign promise with symbolic measures to pull back the troops, indicating they had no intention to do so in the first place. Obama will not pull the troops from Iraq anytime soon if he somehow wins the election.Stingray24 wrote:
The fact they've controlled the legislature for 2 years and never followed through on their campaign promise to pull the troops.
Perhaps what you're talking about was in another thread. The fact that the Dems highlighted Gore's popular vote number instead of the electoral votes, it would seem to follow that they would do the same at their own convention this year right and focus on popular vote instead of delegate count?
Obama. He's so much younger than McCain and he's black. How cool is that!?
Americans have a history of voting for people for stupid shit like that.
