Wow this has really taken off. One thing I want to say. I am not defending anyone here or in my clan for stat padding. I am aware it happened with a few people mainly because they just wanted the new weapons. It all happened in the VERY begining and it got very old very quick. For who ever brought this topic up in the last couple of days, must have been searching for a reason to bash us. The few people who were reset, only padded in the begining - it's not like it happened yesterday. So please don't shy away from our servers for that reason. Stat padding is not tolerated, period.
Anyway, EA saw to it that they were punished. No one is padding now, nor have they for quite sometime - mainly because they realized how lame it was and that the ranks really did not mean much. In fact, I have heard a few comments from a couple of the resets that they actually like the game more now cause its harder.
Some of our clan like BF2, most do not. However I believe that the whole rank thing will slowly go away if EA doesn't support the moding soon. With DC coming out and many other mods, I think the public will shy away from a corrupt, greedy EA until they put out a product that is solid. I blows me away that EA, UBI and Microsoft continue to get away with product releases that are way too buggy and need patches upon patches to fix exploits and game faults - but I digress.
Play where you want to, and enjoy what ever makes you happy - but =CDU= is not a padding clan.

Quack, I think you have finally found a group of folks that actually love Duck. I see a lot of similarities between these last few posters and a Duck that doesn't know when to keep his beek shut.
