Remember that the government works for your boss, not you. Suppression of your wages is a VERY good thing for them, in fact, it's half of the point of NAFTA. While illegal immigration remains a gold mine for US business, illegal immigration will stay.

oh, and converting to universal healthcare should save hundreds of billions of dollars based on every other nationalised healthcare system in the world. Last time I checked, saving hundreds of billions of dollars a year was a good thing.
