Obviously, new 3G iPhone. Apparently the Mac Mini team has been busy in development and they haven't released any new Mac Minis since August 2007 or so...it would be nice to see an update. Unfortunately for me, MBPs are only about 100 days old and their updates aren't usually until every 190 days or so.

What do you expect?

More stuff that is exactly the same as many existing Apple products but are introduced in such a way that people think that they are new and original and though they do not have any real use for them or good reason to get them people will buy them anyway just because Apple says it is new.

I expect limited software. You still won't be able to install other non Apple software without using hacks.

I'm looking forward to updates for the MBP as I'm looking at getting one for uni.

I'm not imagining much of interest tbh. Most of their other stuff has already been updated fairly recently.

Agreed.  Other than the iPhone, nothing much is expected unless they have some super secret thing going on.

I predict a major price drop for the 3G iPhone. $199 and $299 for the 16gb and 32gb versions respectively. Atleast, that's what I've been hearing.

A smaller and more useless (that's the true feat) computer and an "mp3 player" with a proprietary headphone jack so you can't hear how terrible it is outside of the stock crapbuds. Oh wai-

They released SDK for it though...that kind of gives up the limitations.

The main consensus seems to be that it'll be $199 + contract, or $399 to buy it locked to 02 / AT&T etc. If you then choose to contract it, you are liable for a $200 rebate. Either way, it isn't that bad.

This one's good too; no pictures, but it's far more reliable (once the stuff starts getting unveiled, Engadget succumbs to the Digg effect)

Damn, I might have to upgrade and get the 8GB iPhone.  I paid $400 for mine though..

I like the sleek new look though...and GPS ftw!

Is the $199 price going to be for upgrades too? With the current iPhone you could upgrade to it at any time.

IIRC, normally people do buy the iPhone without contracts. You start up a contract by connecting your iPhone to iTunes.
