He is laughing his ass off because them DC folks are idiots and probably missed. But while they think us CT folk have nothing but stones to throw they realize that 90% of all firearms manufactured in the U.S. are manufactured in good ol Connecticut.

I work in a warehouse and doing manual labor all day in the heat makes it feel like +20 degrees hotter then it is. Today was 85 when I looked at the thermometer. Tomorrow shows 99 on the forecast, ugh.

Anyone else anywhere in America (or in the world) getting hit REALLY hard by a heat wave?
Masshole reporting in.

Damn, it was hot today.  Even on the coast, usually it's cooler.  Today, it wasn't.

If you consider being "hit" having to listen to Hurricane's whining, then yes, I have.

It really does not look that bad, those are pretty typical summer temps here. We have high humidity here too, it's no dry heat.

i really hope we don't have a cancellation tomorrow (doubt that we would, but still). I want to get my exams DONE with.

We wont get canceled but the early dismissal is mad good since it doesn't tack on days to the end of school

We're only at school till 10:30AM, then we're allowed to leave (exams are only 2 hours long)

i'm already tuned out really. Tomorrow is Spanish which, meh. I know I raped the Spanish SAT. Tuesday is English which our teacher said she's only giving because she's required to (AKA it doesn't count for much at all, she cares more about our writing throughout the semester). Wednesday is math which will be easy.

Apparently it was waterproof.  I mentioned that to my fiancee, and she said that it was waterproof, but that it wasn't wipe-the-sweat-off-with-a-rag proof.

The important part is that those are average for your area.  They are not here-- 90's in the summer is just about always above average where I live, and about 20 F above average for now.

I like living in a place that experiences four full seasons, with a nice range of temperatures...but I don't like things above 80.
