That wasn't fake, shit happens lol
The oxygen bottle was turned on as you can hear in the video, I would think at least they wouldn't have turned the bottle on it it was fake, but maybe so?
And with him continuing his show, depends on his reaction with the venom and CroFab treatment he might have been well enough to finish.

It was fake.
It was because he was interviewing someone on one of those hundred shows that happens in a hospital so he... went there... it was all planned

Where's the video of that? Is there a longer video that shows the interview after the bite?Winston_Churchill wrote:

Yeah just check youtube... he continues his show from the hospital (which btw is not a real hospital)
I can't believe after the "We have a clamp around it's neck" and watching the guy holding it moving it around and thinking it's still real...my gosh lol.. The audience didn't even react, they just sat there like they were scripted too.

The answer is that it was staged, and fairly obviously so. The clip even features cutaways to audience members reacting in horror to what is transpiring, not to mention a handheld shot of Kimmel being loaded into an ambulance -- directorial touches suggesting that the "incident" was thoroughly planned and rehearsed, not accidental.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Kimm … and_eventsIn an episode that originally aired on May 15, 2006, Kimmel staged a stunt on his show whereby a rattlesnake bites him on the hand. At first it looks real, but as it progresses, there are clues that it is faked. The show follows Kimmel as he is taken to the hospital. After a commercial break, continues to do the show from his hospital bed with the band, having traveled in the ambulance, at his bedside. The rush to get him in the hospital tied in with his guests from the ABC show, Grey's Anatomy. At the end of the episode, the rattlesnake talked while the credits rolled.

Would have been cool if it was real
Animal attacks have happened on TV talk shows before, so I figured it was just another accident.
But I did notice the words the animal guy was using and how he was talking was a little bit odd.
I fugured he just wasn't use to being on TV or something, but I think now it was just bad acting lol
