See guys, I DO listen to you. I decided it was time to upgrade to 2G ram from 1G. How much performance improvement should I see?

I didn't put this in tech because well "the best components for the best players", this is hardly the best...

It won't chug when you first load a map, and loading will decrease but framerate won't significantly improve (unless you have a TurboCache videocard or some shit)

Most likely. Can probably bump one or two up. Loading times will be awesomely faster, and client data times will vastly improve.

OK update:

Got RAM today, installed it, turned computer on...

Start up wasn't that fast, actually didn't see much improvement in speed at all.
Loaded up BF2, getting to the menu was still as slow as ever.
Load up a multiplayer map, I think I shaved about 10 seconds off my normal loading time, which is good.
Quiting BF2...FAR OUT, instant quit to desktop, no lag, no crippling of the system, SMOOTH.

So yeah, all in all, I'm very happy. I can get another few years out of my computer. Thanks guys.
