ok, so i was inspired from talks in this thread about flipping butterfly knives:

its surprisingly easy, so i thought i would show you guys how to do it.
WARNING, it is better to buy a cheap knife and take the edge off before you practice.
before you start, make sure you are holding the side that DOES NOT have the latch. otherwise, the blade will slap on your knuckles, and ruin your day.

now, its all about the rotation of the knife WHILE you are flipping it. you need to use the leverage and momentum of the knife to rotate it....that way, while its flipping, its getting ready to fall into the open/close position.
