Hypothetical question. Say that the Fate of your world fell in your hands. What would you do? Would you save it for all the innocent beings? Would you destroy it? Or leave it as it is and hope for the best? Whether that best be Positive or Negative is undefined. Tell me what would you do and Why?

Destroy it; the world could use a nice restart about now. Things are getting too shitty.
Save it.
I'm hopeful that eventually we'll be able to reprogram this flawed species.

I would institute a world wide consumption tax.
I would cap individual wealth at 1 billion; at that time they would be tax exempt forever.
I would create massive public works projects redirecting water resources and turning Canada and parts of Africa into a massive food belt.
I would limit the number of children allowed in highly populated areas.
I would build fleets of nuclear desalination plants.
I would legalize marijuanna, tax it's consumption and use it as a biofuel resource.
I would step down after four years in office as that would be the maximum allowable elected term, period.

Unless I misinterpreted David, he saying something along the lines of; there's a button in front of you that will destroy everything, do you press it or not?ATG wrote:

Or is he saying that we suddenly become omnipotent, and can do good or evil?
Leave it be. I'm not a galactic engineer, and I don't know what the fuck I'm doing when it comes to planets, and neither does anyone else who says they do.
Save it, if they have a manual. I am awesome at following directions in manuals.
"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
What if the manual is quintillions of pages long?haffeysucks wrote:

Never a coin when you need one to toss... heads, I save; tails, down the drain.
It could be argued that the options one and two are the same.
The paradox is only a conflict between reality and your feeling what reality ought to be.

Save it.
Why? Because I have kids and want them to have a full life.

Save it, just because I want to have a full life.
I'd create a thread asking people what they would do.
What an unbelievably vague hypothetical question. Do you really expect anyone to answer with 'destroy it' or 'nothing'.
I can only guess that you might try and use the poll as some sort of vague justification for aggressive foreign policy and police-state terror laws...because they are supposedly 'actively' trying to 'save the world' from 'terror'.

Well, if I destroyed it I'd be dead, and since this is something I'd like to put off for as long as possible (or at least until I'm 35 and my body is broken) I think I'd leave it. I might keep it within easy reach for when I was having a bad day though.
Wow. That's not at all cynical or anything.Braddock wrote:

So if I destroy it, what happens to me?
And if I save it, then what? Everything is peachy scenario?

Where's the "Kill all Muslims coz Islam is evil" option?
I'll do what God does and leave it alone.
