Taegukgi hwinalrimyeo - its a mouthful to pronounce but its a good movie with amazing effects. Much better that Saving Ryan Privates for example.

Well, Master and Commander: Far side of the world, i think is what the last bit is was excelent. Its about the British navy when we hated the French in the 1800's. It is really good, made in 2003 and although it may seem bad its so good. Watch it. Now.
some movies i got a kick out of:
Ears Open, Eyeballs Click - Marine Corps boot training in SD. very motivating.
Full Metal Jacket
Band of Brothers
Saving Private Ryan
BlackHawk down
The Thin Red Line

i've seen both of these. the Lost battalion is interesting in that they are stuck in the woods with tons of fog all around. it must be unnerving not knowing what's out there, etc. Tae-Guk-Gi is really cool. it's about the Korean conflict and how two brothers get conscripted to fight for the south. The older brother is always taking on hard core assignments so he can get a ticket home for his little bro. eventually he gets captured and ends up fighting for the communists. great battle scenes.zeidmaan wrote:
