I am certain BC produces only a small fraction of the weed consumed here in California, where it is basically legal anyhow.  No worries.

and i do enjoy smoking inside when it's 100 fucking degrees here

We've had extreme weather here, 100 degree weather also, plus, torrential rains, and thunder storms.

Being a BC resident, I know a story or two about growing,

This one told to me by an old(ex) friend.

Couple years ago, in Surrey(a Vancouver suburb), pretty much every house in a culdesac was complaining to BC Hydro(power company) because the lights were flickering, couple months later when the cops FINALLY decided to investigate, they found that 11 of the 13 houses had some form of Grow-Op happening in em.

Still think it's " A small fraction"
