Ok, here's the problem. The 80gb PS3 is sold out and I don't know when they are restocking. My friend is coming to Argentina in 2 days, he couldn't buy the 80gb bundle coz of the reason above. So, what should I do? Buy a 40gb or wait til I go to Miami and Chicago in a couple of months, when my kid is a bit older? Irregardless (Kmarion used this word yesterday), how many games can you handle with the 40gb system at the same time?
How much money is the HDD?Jenspm wrote:
Get the 40GB version, and if it's too little, just buy a 200GB 2.5" HDD later and upgrade it yourself.
And is this a good deal?

Try bestbuy sergeriver. They are also selling them. Or tell your friend to go to Bestbuy, Circuit City or Toys R Us. They, apparently, are also stocking the Bundle. I couldn't get it at gamestop because they only shipped two to that store and I was third in line...(fuckers). So, my wife is going to stand in line at Best Buy to get one of the 40 that shipped there. I hope.
He's going to Circuit City today. Best buy is sold out. I cross fingers.killer21 wrote:

Any standard 2.5" notebook hard drive can be installed in the PS3. I just recently read an article where somebody installed a newer SSD notebook hdd into the the PS3. 5400 rpm and 7200 rpm drives are compatible as well.

This article perhaps?heggs wrote:

That's the one. Personally, I'll be upgrading to a 120 gb 7200 rpm drive soon. The 20 Gb just isn't cutting it anymore.killer21 wrote:

It's not a word.
I always use "irregardless" - it's one of those classic double negatives ... a bit like "unravel". It's a word in common usage!
Oh yea. lol. Didn't even see that.ghettoperson wrote:

did your wife get the ps3? My friend didn't call. Fuck.killer21 wrote:

YES!!! There was a guy that she knew from way back when that put one up front for her so as soon as you walked in, a guy asked if her name was Kellie and she said yes and he said to go to the front register and the PS3 was sitting there waiting for her to pay for it. So, it is at home on my desk waiting for me to open it. Sweeeettt..sergeriver wrote:

It's not a word, it's created when people mispronounce "regardless". Then some plonker writes it down like it's a word.kylef wrote:

"Irregardless" even if it was made a word would mean "not regardless" - which doesn't even make sense!
you can install any sata 2 hdd i believe, just upgrade to a 200 or similar (go for 7200 rpm though) and then install xp or vista and there you go a nice little computer in your living room.
You won't find it in a dictionary, but here is the meaning.rh27 wrote:
