At any rate, I've been karma saying I'm an idiot for my signing of my own posts, and other people just laughing. It's a habit I have from another forum, where I guess it was sort of customary for a couple of members. Should I get rid of it?

That's because it has all the pointless factors of Konfusion, and it has the added konfusion (geddit?) of people thinking you're saying ok.
