It looks a lot less like a My First Computer than the EEE, which makes me a lot more interested. The EEE is a cool idea, especially for the price but they come off as really poor quality. This thing seems pretty well made.

These things are nice, but I'd get a 12"/13.3" one any day. I saw a really awsm 12" HP in a store today, as well as an almost as awsm LG, weighing in at 0.7kg.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Aren't those supposed to be about 500 pounds though? I don't know, 350 is pushing it for this one, but I'll get it in a few months. Or at least I'd like to.Mitch92uK wrote:

Man, 2 minute boot-up? I'm done with that shit :SThe HP 2133 Mini-note Linux Edition is an incredibly good looking piece of kit, but is sadly a classic example of style over substance.
