I hate networking. It's the one part of computers that I must say I have a strong dislike towards.
The thing is, that my LAN works with some applications, but not with others. For example, RDC works flawlessly, but I can't access the other computer from My Network Places, to transfer files. If I leave it for an hour, it might work. If I try ten times, it might work, if I leave it for another hour, it might stop working, and so on. Internet works fine on both computers at all times, as well as RDC. It's mainly access through Explorer that's fucked up, but it can apply to other things as well. It's also slow as hell when it works to explore, but I can stream both audio and video fine. 720p is no problem.
Any ideas?

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
