hi all,

i have a razer lachesis mouse and experienced intermittent tracking problems with the mouse.  that is, the mouse would sometimes skip and not register my movements.  clicks were fine - just movements.  I am using the razer exact mat and it was not the surface or driver that was causing the problem.

after some amount of surfing, i found the solution for me.  on the underside of the lachesis, there is a reflective sticker that surrounds the laser sensor for the mouse positioning.  by removing this sticker using a small xacto knife to lift and peel it off, i was able to eliminate all tracking problems.

so, in case anyone out there has this issue, try this and hopefully it helps you.

good luck!

I had same problems with Copperhead couple times. Have the same silver reflective thing around the laser but its not a sticker and I'm not able to remove it. Suggestions? Sticking another sticker over it?
