I wonder if the Amero and North American union will go the same way? Should be easier with only 3 countries in it. The Mexicans will jump at the chance.
The African union and the soon to be Asian Union coupled with the EU and NAU takes us too close to a totalitarian one world government within the next 100 years.

Hard to tell. I suppose it would have to actually be formally proposed for the American people to judge.
