1) I don't have ready access to alcohol at my mom's house
2) At my dad's house there are a few Heinekens in the fridge but they taste kinda bad, just like most alcohol
3) My grandfather is an alcoholic, so I'd rather not get rip roarin' drunk each week
Same thing with tobacco and drugs in general. My dad smokes (he's tried to quit a few times) and my grandfather on my mom's side died from lung cancer.

Alcohol where I live is definitely not loosing flavour with young. If anything it is getting more appealing. When I was younger, like 15/16 alcohol was available in copious amount at parties and social gatherings. Parents would buy it, if not there were always older brothers and finally some people were had a full beard at this age and could buy there own from most places.Hooch Pandersnatch wrote:

So I would say your view there is incorrect. And you have to remember we are on a gaming forum, there may be some people who do not go out that much.

If anything, as teek says it is getting more popular, I've been buying my own alcohol since I was 14, and get pissed at least once a fortnight.
I love the binge culture in England , it's just such a damn shame you can't drink on the tube anymore, was the best time to get 3 or 4 drinks in before you got to a party or a stupidly expensive club .
