Catalyst 8.5 and ATITool 0.26

Anyone else having trouble? If you're on Catalyst 8.5, could you download ATITool 0.26 and see if it works? It won't work at all for me, and my graphics card is running at -1.#J MHz, apparently.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Yeh, I'm having trouble, it doesn't seem to work on my GTS 512. Halp pl0x. I think i put the cpu paste and stuff on the wrong side.

Stupid question, but did you totally uninstall the previous drivers and ATI tool? They might be conflicting.

I didn't have any previous version of ATITool, and the drivers uninstall themselves with the new ones, so those are not causes for concern.

Hmm. I don't see anyone else with your issue. Just for the hell of it, does it work with older ATI drivers?

Edit: I found your problem, may be you should try .27beta instead?
