Sometimes when i boot up my Internet doesnt work. Nothing.

I cant see any pattens for why it stops, i dont change anything from the time i shut down my pc to the time i start it up. Only fix is disable it, unplug it from the switch then plug it in and re enable it, sometimes it doesnt work so i do it all over again and its fine.

Running vista sp1 64 bit
with the latest drivers.

Any ideas?

How do you connect to the internet? Through a USB modem? Through a router?

Router.. which has a 8 port switch on, which i am connected to. I know its my PC because the 2 other pcs (running XP) both work fine.

I have multiple PC's on my network. Most running XP. Occasionally one will get no internet. Resetting the router and Switch always works for me. Make sure your Vista computer is detecting a network / bridge in the "Network and Connections" and see if the Router/Switch is picking up your machine (mine has lights for each computer, if a light is not active my machine is not being picked up on the network).
