i didnt get a single lesson and i passed all my tests

my car is registered under my dads name and rego+insurance was about $550 AUD all up
This is why I hate driving in Australia.

The tests are a joke BTW, and the instructors know nothing either.

Some of the instructors are quite good.  In Victoria, at least, the instructor test is pretty rigorous.

But yeah, the license test is bullshit.

My neighbours daughter didn't have one lesson, only bothered with her P plates for two weeks, and her 15 year old brother has been driving a while now.
Hopefully they'll wrap themselves around a stobie pole.

If you only do an hour a week, then yes.

How do expect to learn to drive in 25 hours?
100 weeks is like 2 years, 25 hours is ample time.
You can get a learner's permit at 16.  You can get a probationary license at 18 17.

I'm seeing a pattern here.
Fixed to be right.
