I need some new hardware, but I'm having trouble with some parts.

I already have.

Mobo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6813131246

Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6819103228

Memory: http://www.alternate.nl/html/productDet … CIE83& (<dutch site, it wasn't on newegg)

Power supply: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6817341001

Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6811129021

I still need a new hard drive a terabyte or more and a gfx card a really nice one.

You guys can also change the hardware what i already have selected, but what i have now selected will cost me about €450,- so if you guys could stay under the 1k that would be awesome.

I don't need to play crysis on high without lag on this thing, but i do want to play CS:S,BF2, total war games etc. on high with it and that i can at least play most of the this year games (left 4 dead, BiA:hells highway etc.) on medium-high.

Karma if you want to for help.

GA-P35-DS3L, E7200, that RAM works, Samsung HD, Case and PSU works, HD4850.

I normally don't build systems anymore, but I reckon I need a system to spam all over, when people ask, as 90% of requests are like this.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

If your Main HDD is that large make sure you partition it.

I would use a 320GB HDD for my main and a TB for a storage drive
