THE WORLD FAMOUS 'RUST BUCKET' FIAT 126 SPECIAL. CAN BE SEEN FROM SPACE AS PER THE PIC.

T-Reg dating it to circa 1978. (It has aged better than most of the Bee Gees hits of the time.)

This lovely example in near-showroom condition was parked out in my dad's back garden around 1993 and hasn't moved since.

SPECIAL FEATURES

    * DOESN'T DO 0-60... EVER!
    * JUST 47,000 RUST-FREE MILES ON THE CLOCK
    * SEATS, FOR SITTING ON.
    * WINDOWS, FOR LOOKING INSIDE, AND LOOKING OUT OF. (NOT ELECTRIC)
    *
    * WHEELS, WHICH COULD BE USED AS NOVELTY PLANTERS, OR MAYBE EVEN WHEELS COMES WITH ORIGINAL REMOVEABLE RADIO. (Doesnt pick up DAB sadly)
    * NO MOT OR TAX. WOULD PROBABLY REQUIRE A REPLACEMENT CAR FOR THE M.O.T.
    * STEERING WHEEL, JUST LIKE A REAL CAR.
    * WOULD MAKE A NICE FIRST CAR - BUY IT FOR YOUR 17 YEAR OLD AND SEE THE LOOK OF DELIGHT ON THEIR FACE!
    * LOW INSURANCE GROUP AND VIRTUALLY UN-NICKABLE.
    * LUMPS OF RUST THAT WERE PROBABLY ONCE AN ENGINE, GEARING, AND BRAKING SYSTEM (TONY ROBINSON FROM TIME TEAM IS CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING THIS).
    * ALUMINIUM PIE-DISH LOCATED IN THE BONNET. USEFUL IF YOU WANT TO EAT A PIE AFTER RESTORING THIS BEAUTY.
    * VINYL ROOF HAS SURVIVED SURPRISINGLY WELL.
    * THANKS TO THE RUSTED BODY, YOU COULD PROBABLY FOLD IT UP AND PUT IT IN A SUITCASE.

Despite the fact it looks so damn good and driveable, this is not really a car anymore. It is just a collection of parts, some of which are totally unusable, others such as the interior, plastics, windows etc, that might be. You would have to apply for a new logbook as this can't be found. But on the plus side, I can confirm it's HPI clear!

If bidding exceeds £30,000 I will bake a pie for the winner.

Please, someone, somewhere, come and tow it away. Make the nightmares stop.

BUYER TO COLLECT - I CAN'T POST THIS!
This made me lol, this guy needs a +1

Look at some of the questions

Thanks To The Rusted Body, You Could Probably Fold It Up And Put It In A Suitcase.
lol the features the guy made are brilliant. Since I can't +1 him, I'll +1 you instead.

Q: "hello there i have a 24 foot caravan would this car ba capable of towing it, and is it fitted with a towbar."
A: "24 foot caravan? This could probably fit INSIDE the caravan! It doesn't come with a towbar but if you tie a bit of dental floss to the back, you might..."

"Can be seen from space" That's the kicker

We should all pitch in and buy this thing.

Start sending paypal donations to lilpunk1302@gmail.com
(I'm semi-serious about this )

Q:      Hi. I'm thinking of bidding, but i'm concerned that the car is badly covered in white bird poop. It seems to be covering the orangey brown paintwork that is clearly seen on certain areas. Would you clean it before i pick it up ?     20-Jun-08

A:      But the bird poo is what makes it such a classic landmark! It would be like taking the lean out of the Leaning Tower of Piza, or covering the Cistine Chapel in B&Q Magnolia. It would devalue this masterpiece to touch it's timeless beauty.

Which is $401 Canadian. God damn I hate the UK/Canadian exchange rate.

I doubt you would even get that much for scrap since the metal is so rusted. What a POS. Don't they have car collection services in the UK that will pick it up and scrap it all for free?

Nope, In the U.K we get paid for scrap metal, we don't get charged for it
