After a bit thinking, I just realised wouldnt it be sexy if they gave us patch 1.5, and announced it as BF3. I mean, theres no major changes everyone wants from BF2 to BF3, if they fixed the reg and other small bugs, added a few maps I would be happy. Im not looking forward to trying to play BF3 on this shite machine anyway, it just about plays BF2 nowadays anyway, just a thought...

The biggest thing I want out of BF2(Oddly enough) Is Destructible enviros.
So personally, I wouldn;t be satisfied with releasing BF2 1.5 and calling it BF3.

If they release a patch now and call it BF3, i will gather people together and camp outside EA headquarters main-doors
so they cant leave the building until they release BF3....... ;-)

destructible environments is probably something that will be saved for BF3. I don't think the current game engine and the way the game is designed could handle that.
What I would like to see are selectable secondary weapons, but I don't think that's going to happen. Character customization is probably something reserved for RPG's.

There wont be any destructible enviornments, but hopefully some fixes to blantant issues, and news maps!

Finally, by the looks of it, it seemed like DICE & EA has forgot they even owned rights to BF2. Lets hope this patch isn't a disappointment. For a such a long time, they've got a lot of expectations to meet from the gamer community.
