EA is making server crashes?

The server I play on seem to have the problem of everyone crashing to desktop every few rounds. I thought this was a local problem but I think it is actually a global problem.

All the top most populated servers are nearly empty and some which was full a second ago has been emptied as well. Some servers seem to be immune to this problem. These server's history have shown a very high population at all times and won't empty even overnight.

I think EA has screwed up big time.

there is a hack which crashes all players. maybe someone is in a bad mood today.

Yes, it's hackers. The hack is caused by spoofed player ID's that match a player that is already in the server. It's more of an exploited glitch than anything. EA is the only ones that can fix the problem. The hope is that the new patch will fix the problem. Our server has also been plagued by this problem.

Yep. Its hackers. They have a list of servers and they get points on how many servers they empty or players they drop. with these points they can get free stuff "like more hacks". How do i know this? i have reliable sources and i am an admin on Full Contact War

No, seriously, where did you hear that stuff about "points"? I've talked with other server operators who are in the know and that's not what they said to me. I've heard it's a way to get EA's attention to fix the problem.

My clan server hasn't crashing for serveal games now, looking good. Wish I can say the same for other servers which I have asked about. Some of them never got populated.

they want EA to fix a problem that wouldn't exist if they didn't hack? doesn't seem very logical to me.

No, I'm saying that there were a few people doing this hacking which was causing problems and now there are more doing it simply to get EA's attention to fix the problem. The hacking was happening, but not getting much attention, now it's getting a lot more attention which is more likely to get the attention of EA, right? Anyway, that's just what I heard from another server operator. Who knows if it's true or not. Anyway, hopefully EA will fix it. The truth is that people will exploit glitches or use hacks if they exist, hopefully we can get at least a few of them closed up.
