So this is my problem
I don't want to spend a big budget on my new computer so I checked the dell site in my country,
compared the prices with them from the USA
and calculated how much I had to pay in Euros and it is much cheaper to import a desktop from the USA
but my question now is, the power supply in Belgium is different. We have other voltage level
A lower one.
A friend of mine just bought a laptop in the USA and he said that it wasn't a problem but that's with a laptop
a would also buy the screen in USA and I know the only thing i have to do is buying a electicity adaptor
Now I told my father and he said it wouldn't work
What's you opinion on this one?

The US uses 110V, Europe 230V. Unless the power supply can take both voltages it won't work. You can however get a European PSU and put it into an American system. Call dell and ask if their PSUs also take 230V?

I can't see why you would buy from them anyways ...

Uh, any Americans bought a Dell recently? Does it have the little red switch of death?
My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.

even if one model has it, chances are that another doesn't. emailing/calling dell seems like the best way
