The lanes in Amsterdam are crazy, need some damn wide streets for all that though
Flat city = plenty of speed though so it would be sweet to cycle there.

I actually saw a person get yanked off their bike by a police officer. Bit harsh reallyVilham wrote:
its actually illegal to ride a bike on the pavement in the UK. Not that the police would stop you or anything seeing as its a stupid law. I mean whats gunna do more damage:
Bike hitting person.
Car hitting bike.
I think car hitting bike.
can be quite tricky with all the bridges in the centreMrAnderson wrote:

You can get a DUI on a bike? LMAOoChaos.Haze wrote:
Technically a cyclist could sit in the middle of the lane and go as fast as they want. They are considered a vehicle and have right of way to cars. Then a pedestrian has right of way to bikes. I was always told by the cops I knew that it goes in order of how hurt you can get. The most at risk gets the most right of way.
If you can get a dui on a bike, then you should be allowed to ride it in the street, IMO.
Why don't you use them then?GravyDan wrote:
First off, get the fuck out of the road. We have many country roads where I live, complete with a nice 2 foot cut out specially made for bike riders.

I see now, you are one of them. Retreat to your herd, for I am too "Badass."The Sheriff wrote:

Presumably for the same reason they don't, it takes longer to get to your destination. Also it's funny how you're trying to be badass then you say;GravyDan wrote:

I'm not actually, nice to see you avoided my comments though, gg.GravyDan wrote:

I avoided your comment because it didn't make a lot of sense. Why don't I use them then? Referring to the bike lanes? The reason is that I am not a cyclist. I am a motorist, and I stick to the assigned lane, as I wish they (the cyclists) would. The Sheriff wrote:

Sticking out your hand to either the left or the right is ALLWAYS a sign that a cyclist is going to make a turn. Remember that. And thanks for calling me a faggot, as the bicycle is my main transport vehicle, but fortunately here in the Netherlands we have cyclist-paths so cyclist and car dudes hardly ever get in each other way.Eye-GiZzLe wrote:
i'm so tired of the damn cyclists (or whatever you want to call the faggots) that ride on main roads with lots of traffic. riding around back roads is one thing, but these assholes HAVE to be on the busiest streets, causing people to slow down to go around them when there is a fucking 5 ft sidewalk 2ft away.
earlier, some dipshit was in front of us going slow as fuck. the car ahead of us slowly went around him, and as we were about to do the same, he sticks out his left arm and like points it. we thought he was pointing for us to go around him, but instead he decides to make a sudden turn in to the middle of the fucking road. we weren't going fast and had plenty of time to stop but still...
do these retards piss you off too? or are you one of these degenerates?
i am usually a peaceful driver; these douche bags are the only ones that really piss me off.
Fancy shmancy expensive bikes in big cities like that get stolen. Crappy ones get stolen. Even motorcycle locks don't stop assholes from stealing your bike, I should know.1927 wrote:
