BF2S Forums can i legally have guns even if it says i can't in my lease?

You agreed to a contract, now, if I am not mistaken, and if I payed attention in law class, you can forfeit your rights in a contract, so you cant have em.

Bend the rules. Have a paintball gun with the ammo in the freezer.

Its entirely legal because it is his private property. There is no constitutional protection for having guns on someone else's property.

You make a agreement with him out of your own free will... right?

Then there is nothing you can do. It is his property and he agreed to rent it to you under specific guidelines, you must abide.

That would work, if he owned the property. Usually, people don't lease their own property to themselves.

Its your gun, you dont have to tell anybody you have the gun, so I wouldnt worry about it.  He/She (owners) cant enter your townhome without your permission.  Therefore I would conceal the gun in a safe place and not worry about it. . . . .

I would go about your business without mentioning a thing, its none of their buisness.

p.s. I have guns in my apt (Glock 30 and Glock 19) and my landlord dont know a damn thing!

Well senior I have my real estate license too, and any landlord has to give you at least 24hrs notice before entering a property you are currently inhabiting.  Renters have rights too ya know!

It is ILLEGAL for them to enter unannounced unless the building is on fire/emergency situation etc.  It is within your rights to be notified before anyone not on the lease enters your domain.

OR unless you give them permission to enter at anytime!

You can LEGALLY have them (it's not against the LAW).

But he can LEGALLY evict you if he finds out about it (it does violate the terms of your lease).

Actually, In Florida you can keep your gun in your car at work even if your employer doesn't allow it guns on the premesis.

i swore there was a clause restricting such a thing even in a signed lease...but i couldn't find anything _{hence the thread}.

and off the record: i will still have mah gunz in the house.  they all have trigger locks, so i don't see what the big deal is.
