Okay so in september i'll start my 2nd year of college and i would like to get a laptop that i would use almost only for school. The program i use everyday is autocad 08' and also photoshop very often, office, sketchup and internetz browsing (maybe 3ds max next year..)

So now i have a deal at work, Staples, which i think is interesting but i would like to know what you guys think about it since some of you are really ''technicians'' .

HP pavillon

17"

AMD X2 Turion TL-64  @ 2,2 Ghz

2Go ddr-2

320 Go  (2 x 160)

Nvidia 8300 gsm

DVD drive with HD-DVDI support (hdcp ?)

HDMI,firewire,etc inputs...

TOTAL: 760$

Is it worth it ?

It does not have an HDMI input.  There are very few cards that can accept HDMI input that are cheap enough for the average consumer.
