Anyone had any?  I think I sprained my MCL when I was busy sprawling out across the road.  (high speed + tires that don't edge well + bicycle + me = bad)  It's getting better really fast, but this morning I almost fell cause I didn't know I hurt it.

My mom really tore up her knee while skiing. Can't remember what exactly it was that got broken, but it was a major injury. Lucky the Chilean Army (we were on vacation in Chile) was training there at the time and they provided some first aid. Took her like a year total to recover, and they put some metal thing in her knee that makes metal detectors go off, lulz.

Could have been the MCL.  That sounds BAD.

That's really the only thing I'm scared about doing when I go skiing tbh.  Tear one of those ligaments properly and you can't run the rest of your life.

when that happened to SERE, he founded the nearest dissident, tore out the dissident's knee, then tore out his own knee and replaced it with the other guy's knee and attached all the blood vessels and nerves and whatnot with his fucking mind

sprained my left ACL and my right PCL during football. They were pretty minor, but it has been 5 years since my PCL injury and it still comes back at times if i slightly hyper flex my knee. kinda sucks.

I snapped the medial collateral ligament. Basically ended my football career.

Was just jogging along, nothing stressful, no twisting, nothing, then heard a loud crack (not too dissimilar to a popping balloon and about as loud). It didn't hurt at all when it happened, but when I put my foot down it wouldn't support me and just collapsed. That was the day before my graduation, so I missed that (Ohh well was boring as shit anyway).

I couldn't walk properly for about a month, and running was impossible for about 6 weeks and really couldn't do that without pain for more like 6 months, and it was about a year before it fully healed, and even now four and half years later I can still feel it sometimes.

First was an escalator incident. I was in a hurry and got a phone call as I was just on the escalator, I answered and had to go and get something else. So instead of running all the way down and then up I just decided to run up the going-down escalator. I got right to the very end, the last step, when I mistook where the step was. I tripped myself and my kneecap went straight into the bit where the escalator appears to "come out". That was pretty painful, and I couldn't walk properly for a few days after that.

Second was just epiclol. I tried to jump from one ledge to another - you can see where this is going. My first foot made it, but my second didn't and my knee decides to cut all down the old wood of the ledge. I still went out and played the hockey game I was in but damn, that hurt!

Both have left scars on my left knee. As for my right knee, nothing yet..

I've torn an MCL and an ACL (one in each knee).

After several surgeries, and two years later, I'm now faster and stronger than I once was.  Actually, I was nearly fully healed after a year - but I was lazy and put off training and proper rehab.

You have time on your side - you're young and heal ungodly fast in relation to knee injuries.

When I went hiking in the Ardens (Belgium) ther was a forest with some slippery trails and jagged rocks and rivers everywhere, I survived the course with out even grazing anything, then when we had lunch at a restaurant I jumped from the stairs and buped my leg on a iron dustbin, it should've been stitched then but I was like w/e so I'll probably keep a scar from it

Dislocated both of them :\

On one occasion some fat guy fell into me, I was going to go head first into a brick wall, I tried to turn, my upper body (and from the knee up) turned, but from there down it didnt, and ummmmmm, yea.

Second was much worse, the actual ball of the knee twisted round atleast 90 degrese, I landed onto the bone that was sticking out which supported my weight for the 2-3 hours it took for me to drag myself across the ground, knock the phone off the table (which nearly hit me!) and get some help :\

Both occasions I was in a cast for 8 weeks and by the end of it I had chicken thin legs........  Absolute bastard to build back up.

The most I've done to my knee was when I was half running, half jogging, half laughing on a gravel road and tripped over something and cut my knee open. Got a huge rock in it and needed 4 stitches.

twisted my knee countless times. Probably done some damage, cause they still twist really easily.

It's a bitch.

Only cuts and scars and whatnot, my legs are very strong, due to a long period of competition swimming + football.

Then again, it only takes a bad twist to ruin all that.

My knees squeak sometimes...you can only hear it faintly but I can feel it.

My hips also hurt sometimes when it's humid.

I've had knee injuries since i was around 8, now 17, mainly growing pains or something, but for the last 4 years, if i do something wrong with my legs or sit wrong my knee pops out of its joint, which i have to pop it back in. Which tbh aint very painful.
