HI

a friend of mine has got a laptop that keeps locking up when it gets
to warm i think but this only happens when he users it in is bedroom
i put speedfan on it and it says getting up to 60c+ on the temps
 
this laptop is only 6 mouths old

but what what to know is is they something that he can buy to keep it cooler

For my dad's laptop he had it up on a block and a 120mm old computer fan blowing into the back, worked but i don't recommend it

60C is no problem for a laptop. Laptop parts are, like GPUs, more resistant to heat than the desktop equivalents. My lappy's CPU is rated at 100C.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
