Thinking about putting up a few on veoh. Not youtube because of the 10min limit and all episodes are 11min.

For those who have never seen it

YouTube videos can be longer than 10 minutes if you change your account type to Director. Another tip: adding

Code:

&fmt=18
to the end of the video URL can help improve quality. Some say there isn't a difference, but try it on one of those Bad Company ads, and tell me that disclaimer at the start is simply sharper:

Average quality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dfz96fJepSU

High quality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dfz96fJepSU&fmt=18

Embedding is said to be un-phased by the hi-q fix, so click the link and compare the videos. Tabbing, everyone's doing it.

Also, Veoh can sometimes be a pain, forcing people to watch the videos in VeohTV only, giving the poor sap that's just browsing only a 5-min preview of the video. Sometimes it's VeohTV only, sometimes the videos are up for everyone. Either way, that VeohTV program looks a bit too prying, keeping track of the videos people are watching.

The account type is just for show. They disabled long videos without special permission (per video), a long time ago.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
