I think time requirements for ground-, air- defence  ANd vehicle badges are much to high
ridiculously high even this is how it is now:

Ground Defense Badge: Veteran: 15h
                                     Expert: 60h

Air Defense Badge:       Veteran: 30h
                                     Expert:  100h

Armor Badge:                Veteran: 100h
                                     Expert: 400h
                                      Medal:  250h

Aviator Badge:               Veteran: 100h
                                     Expert: 300h
                                      Medal:  200h

Helicopter Badge:           Veteran: 100h
                                     Expert: 400h
                                      Medal:  250h

Transport Badge:           Veteran: 50h
                                     Expert: 150h

it WOULD TAKE YOU ABOUT 1410h for those and only 700h to get all infantry badges
and you automaticly get more time as infantry then as something of the above (verry smart thinking ea and way to promote whoring)

This is how i think i should be:

Air Defense Badge:       Veteran: 5h

Armor Badge:                Veteran: 20h

                                      Medal:  100h

Aviator Badge:               Veteran: 20h
                                     Expert: 60h
                                      Medal:  80h

Helicopter Badge:           Veteran: 20h
                                     Expert: 80h
                                      Medal:  100h

Transport Badge:           Veteran: 10h
                                     Expert: 35h
vehicle should take less time then infantry to get becuase
A) you can alway'S be infantry and theire are only a small amount of armor planes...  a map
B) YOu wont get that much better playing 10h or 100h with something
C) Your alway'S infanty even in a vehicle so you get more hours as infantry



PS: i'M only saying theire is something wrong with the time req not with the other req

I only vote no if EA supports the game for the long term. I don't see any reason someone who just bought the game should get instant or faster gratification for a medal/award I worked hard for towards the harder goal. Just for example; you know?

The steep vehicle awards though really differentiate the skill of the player as an individual I feel. If a guy feels the need to play his first 6 months of the game in a helicopter and rack up 400 hours of helo like I'd get my armor if any of them first. Then when stats are compared it can be said "Jeez Fubar/fox is one hell of a helo pilot to spend that much time up there." From a clan stand point they may look at that to utilize as a pilot for thier team. 

I understand maybe one day if ever everyone could have the expert awards and it wont matter but if I see you do 400 hours i will be the first one in line to call you an expert.

I think some (alot) troops need to understand they may never have all of these medals. It must be earned.

I have no intentions of spending 15 hours in a TOW antime soon....if ever.

it also counts as time in a mounted MG, so you could get in the secondary seat of a tank, that would help

Shouldn't it rather be like - if you got an expert badge in something then you've really made an effort in something that most others have not..? Expert shouldnt be something everyone reckons they'll get within some time, eh?

I think times are silly, it should all be about killing and how many you killed.

So instead of 20hs and and like 12r kills it should be 150 kills. That would be hard to do in 20 hours, but with 20 hours not being there you wont have people just chillin out in the ground defence in some obscure base.

The Heli and AA badges (expert) are ridiculous well vet AA too. Ground defence is fine, but aviator and armour are a bit shite too.

I think the times in your suggestions are far too low then though, especially ground defence

can't agree with this one, I have spent the time for vet air defense, vet ground defense, vet armor, and I am about 1 hour away from vet transport.  I wouldn't want a patch to give it too people who haven't done the time

Woo Hoo I just got my Veteran Aviator Badge. I cannot believe how long that took.... My God!!! And all I do is fly.

I find it annoying how vet armour is 100h while all the other vet vehicles are 50 or 25h. I can't be fucked to sit around in a tank for another stupid 50h...
