I can't figure out what these little boxes are. I see them a lot.

They are in the title of one of the posts here at bf2s, with "Clear, alright your good to go" because they look like shock paddles.
They look like someone's using extended character set characters - they should look like something else, but whatever program you're seeing them in is rendering them like that, or is using the wrong font (one which has those funny boxes for those character codes).

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. I've seen that copied and pasted on tons of YouTube videos. Some new trend I suppose. Spam, why'd it have to be spam?
