It'll all be fine
So if your 'Smooth Operator' says "Sit back, open wide you'll only feel a small prick" you'll be fine with that?kptk92 wrote:

Joking aside, good luck but don't worry, this time tomorrow it will all be over and not too painful either.

Just as I'm kinda ... psyching myself up for this, the hospital call and delay the poxy op for another week!! So now I'm just being pissed about by the NHS once again. I really want this thing over and done with.
And naight, you aern't funny, go make your smart comments elsewhere where someone cares.

Lol that's annoying.
I'd be pissed off aswell as you psych yaself up and then have to count another week down. Its easy for us to say but try to not worry too much about it, trust us, it isnt that bad and besides, what can you do about it? Its in the hands of the NHS. Hmmm I can understand if this dosen't help infact but these people who will do the work spent 5 years at least in med school making sure they can do the job perfectly.kptk92 wrote:

In kapitalist America you'd already be out of the dentist's office and if you have dental insurance it wouldn't cost much.

Modern science can do some crazy things (shit, if you like ), I think the basics are keeping people down during a session. They usually measure your weight to see how much you need.
Don't sweat it. They do this all the time. I was once a worrier when it came to dentist appointments, and they had to take out around 4-5 teeth. My parents didn't tell me about, so I was scarred from that day forward. Then recently, I went to the dentist for a check up. It wasn't all that bad, but everyone that worked there were ladies. Guess that calmed my nerves . . .
So I didn't think about the procedure, just sat back, focused on what I'd be doing afterwards (trying out my new Sims 2 Open 4 Business xpack ) and said 'dammit, you're a guy, act like one. ' Also, when I first had to do the x-ray thingie in the mouth, I gagged, but there's a trick I learned from my new dentist. Lift your legs up, and your mind will shift from your throat to keeping your legs up.

It could always be worse ya know. My dad had some idiot dentist that give him a root canal without any anesthetics whatsoever when he was 13.
I have autism too but it's only minor.

When I was getting my braces in, I just kept reciting the phonetic alphabet. It was very handy when I couldn't remember what "S" was.Cyrax-Sektor wrote:

how did it go?
It got delayed for another week, read the page...
So here we go again, about 13-14 hours to go. I'm starting to fully realise that I'm going in tomorrow, I'm pretty worried. Just worrying about after the op, I'm gonna be toothless D:
