aim for the chest... that is what I do.. and you dont have to be lying down. I mean, you can revive people while you're standing up. Lying down only helps you to cover yourself a bit, so you're not just a prey standing still for others.
Found the best way for me was to point that yellow circle symbol at the centre of their chest and then shock them.
It does not really matter where you place your paddles. Often I aim for a foot and it works fine. Even from some distance. I think the trick is to wait about 1 second before reviving (because of the paddles bug). Also going prone will help. Oh! Do not lay on them! Come from the side. I hope that will help.
ya usually i lay down real quick, aim for chest and do it and a lot of times miss first ...i think cuz i was still in process of going prone, but then i get it
Thanks guys...I will keep working at it I guess
I never go prone to revive someone - helps when you need to sprint away from that grenade
I noticed that if i was too close i wouldn't be able to shock them, but if i backed up a step I'd be fine..
Notice also that if someone has dies a) from arty b) in a vehicle c) in a ladder - you won't be able to repair their broken flesh
Keep up practicing - practice makes perfect (or seriously pissed team-members because you both die after you revived him )

sometimes it might just be because they are in a non-revive state. I.e. They are cannon fodder. I have had no success in shocking in the standing position. my best results are to...
1) go prone, wait about 1-2 seconds then shock anywhere in or near torso.
2) crouch and wait about 1-2 seconds then shock anywhere in or near torso.
but like they said above. its all about practice practice practice.

I just always run straight at the dead guy in question, Dive onto the ground in prone, and shock them right on the chest.
BZZT! "Thanks, I owe you one!"

one more thing i want to add:
you can not revive a person who's in the spawn screen. so if he got killed and is now looking at his spawn screen trying to figure out what spawnpoint to pick, you simply can not do it.
i read this on another thread and it made a lot of things clear to me. like when someone right next to you gets killed and you zapp him like 5 times from different angles and positions but he just won't get back to life, he's probably just in his spawn screen.

"Hmm.... not this way, perhaps if i try... hmmm... nope... wtf?"
I've been going to pick a new spawn point and been revived before. Sucks b/c it always takes me a second to jump back and get my bearings straight. It might just be that they revived just as a hit the button to go to the spawn screen though.
don't exactly know about that. as i said, i just read it on another thread and it sounded pretty conclusive. would explain some strange things like why sometimes that bastard won't wake up.InnerMonkey wrote:

no matter how much you hammer your fists on his chest screaming "LIVE!!! LIVE GODDAMMIT!!! DON'T LEAVE ME ALONE NOW!!! BREATHE!!!"
that's why i believed it
