Thank you Poland for respecting the provisions of the legislature of the EU as it exists now. You have stood up and been counted as a proponent of democracy and legality. That one quote sums up how sovereignty in the EU will be destroyed if this treaty now goes ahead. The Czech Republic should follow suit soon. Hooray for Eastern Europe. Why should they trade the USSR for the EUSR...

On another note - "But his call for the EU to cut VAT on fuel has received little support from other member states" - that's pretty interesting. VAT fuel reduction sounds logical in writing but in practice it is essentially the best way to get money in quick for the Government so I can't see it changing anytime soon.

They've always had balls but they've usually failed. Remember WW2? Cold War? They stood up and were immediately shot down. Although I can't see any mass death figures over the treaty

Hey, just because someone loses a fight doesn't mean they don't have a set. Like I said, a country with the army they had at the time going up against the Nazi war machine is pretty ballsy.
