It is still free. You probably clicked on the version that has all the "protection" such as spyware, firewall, etc. The free version is still there and it works perfectly fine.

my avg 7.5? is still updating even though they said there would be no more updates for it after 6/25. Hmm i wonder if its just def files and there is no more engine updates.
