On a dark background, lighter colors tend to bleed to the right, white text against the bf2s.com forum gray. The whiteness bleeds towards the right side of the screen, in line with the bright colors. Im sorry, I dont really know how to explain this. It does seem to be getting worse though, for the past week or so I have noticed it, the monitor is brand new, half a year old. Its a Samsung Sync Master 940N. Im hoping there is a fix for this and my monitor isnt going to shit.

Try auto-adjusting it, at first, if you're using d-sub. If that doesn't work, adjust the pixel frequency manually.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Already tried auto adjusting, what is d-sub? Pixel Frequency?

Something similar happened to me and i ended up having to replace a heat-damaged graphics card.  At least thats what i assume it was, but the card was fucked thats for sure.

D-sub is analogue, the blue trapezoid plug.

I assume Pixel frequency is another name for Phase.

All my plugs are in, cant find pixel frequency either, I doubt graphics card is the problem, I have 4 fans in the case, 1 on the CPU, and one on my 8800GTS 512. None of the air seems to be warm or anything, I dont know how to check the actual temperatures of the things but I havent used the 8800 for anything more demanding then CSS and Bioshock the past month or so.

EDIT: I just went through the whole menu on monitor, nothing seemed to change the problem.
