Anyone know how to install skype on Vista? I'm thinking its just my computer but I am hoping it isn't. I Download skype, click run and it says it needs a program to run it with. WTF? What do I run it with or is it just my PC?
Opened the containing folder and tried to open Skype Setup
Returns the error of : C:\Users\owner\Downloads\SkypeDownloads.exe is not a valid win32 application.
Any clues?

Specific Skype versions for 32/64 bit Vistas?
Not that I could see, and as far as I know Vista premium is 32.

Yeah, I was thinking that you somehow got the 64 bit version of Skype (if this exists) but Google isn't giving me much help today.
(Browsing the Skype forum as we "speak")
Corrupt file? Firefox issue?

Cause that "needs a program to run with" happened to me!
I found the d/led file, right clicked and went "properties > unblock" - and then it worked.
