This guy may end up dead if he's not careful. Ask Stanley Allen Meyer.

what he does is ........... on the downhills he cuts the engine and lets it coast
yes I know turning over the engine can suck up as much fuel as letting it idle for 6 hours

Dear God please let my karma one day reach 100, whether it be tomorrow or 1000 years in the future i want it to happen.

The litre should be standard. No gallon crap.Reciprocity wrote:

damn you and your magnificient units of measure.
Do you guys ever use your decimeters? When your measuring things do you include the decimeter? or is it like milimeters, centimeters, then meters? just bypassing the decimeter?

Bypassed usually, I definitely wasn't taught it. m > cm > mm.Reciprocity wrote:

Not entirely on topic but then it's not totally off it either.
Well I happened to wake up to a re-run of an old episode of Top Gear this morning that I'd apparently missed and this was on it.
Ignore the first part.
The whole drive system and power generator (yes it generates it's own power) sits in an 11" deep chassis, the rest is just the shell (which can be changed to make the car into whatever you need it to be, pickup, family saloon, SUV etc. takes about 30 mins to change the whole shell).
Oh did I mention it does all this with salt water for fuel, and it's only emission is pure water.
Again the looks are questionable, and as far as performance goes I have no idea how well it does, safety again doesn't look so great but it is just a concept car and it's just a matter of making the shell a bit less arty and a bit more like current cars to make it more reasonable for daily road use.
