Well as opposed to the audiophile-esque alternative of carrying around a vinyl-player... no thanks.Defiance wrote:
Uh, get another player if you want and can.
I'd suggest a decent player though, you can't call yourself an audiophile and carry around an iTouch.

the previously suggested solution of becoming an hero- which I must say at this moment is looking very attractive.
I know, it was 2:30am and I was rather tired... a sort of way of amusing myself rather than getting very annoyed and angry .PspRpg-7 wrote:
That was really poetic for someone's iPod dying. I would have just said "My fucken ipod just broke. Help plx?"

That's the best part. You get a dud, and it is either still in warranty and you replace, or it doesn't work but you haven't lost much cause it was cheap, or it works fine and is a good replacement to what you were after.Uzique wrote:
eBay does have some startlingly-cheap iPod's for 'sale' via eBay Shops. So cheap in fact that some of the auctions are downright dubious.
Well, for example the 80Gb Classics retail in the UK for around £150.00, and they're on eBay from these mysterious factory-sellers for £115.00. It's considerably cheaper (next to no markup at all I imagine)- yet over a hundred quid is still a nasty hit to take if all you get for it is effectively a non-guaranteed paperweight .TheAussieReaper wrote:

Yep, as mentioned in my original post, mine was literally brand new off the shelves after they launched the Videos...kylef wrote:
My iPod Mini died on me once, very annoying but Apple replaced it quickly! My current 30GB iPod has been going for a long time now. I got it that christmas the year it was released.

Although, saying that, my music folder is over 500GB and I manage perfectly with an 8GB Samsung touch. So maybe you should try it; because right now you aren't going to get a larger and better MP3 player than that.
Actually, I count that rubbish.kylef wrote:

Oh, there's like 4 layers I think, I only penetrated the first one going outward so I guess so it all stayed inside the screen, if I penetrated the second layer, I probably would've seen the fluid rattling around inside that layer, if I penetrated the third, I would've had the fish tank effect methinks and the fourth would've given me the yum yums.
It's colorless so it the screen is like a calculator screen with a backlight.
