Well, why would they ... having nuclear activity means the US can't exactly just walk in like they did in Iraq. It (ironically) gives them protection from at least some degree of threat

how do you figure?

we were ready to walk into an NBC nightmare in 1991 according to Saddam, so what makes you think we cannot now?

AFAIK,  They walked into Iraq for the same reason, because there is the same "nuclear activity", until afterwards, where they owned themselves and found there is nothing that will destroy the world

erm.....actually, it is a good thing Saddam is gone and we know FOR SURE there is no bad stuff.  Remember, Saddam thought he had all the bells and whistles, its just his people lied to him.

You're fighting a war on terror and there's no real reason to 'invade' Iran like you did with Iraq. Your PR isn't exactly the best and you've already lost some support from what you had in Iraq, so I don't think USA vs Iran would work out too well. Would it be really wise to start a war with a country that has (apparently) a third of the world's oil supply?

...since it's only the US pressing Iran to stop it's nuclear program you mean?

Ok here's how I see it. What we have today is something very similar to the Delian League or the Peloponnesian League. Namely that it's a coalition or alliance only on paper. Because in reality, Athens or Sparta or the US were running /run the show. The rest just follow orders.

It was never a good thing to get rid of him.

And yes, he probably thought that. But, I am pretty positive he knew everyone was lying to him.

So you're saying the members of the EU are a bunch of weak-minded ninnies who can't think or act for themselves?

A) Well, as far as I can see, he had the better control; regardless of whether he was a jackass or not.

B) Alot of Iraqis do, getting 100% in the election without having a competitor is an example.

It's like having a poll with both options equal to "Yes"

if by control you mean gas an entire town of "trouble makers," and toss dissidents off of buildings or bury them in mass graves, then yes, I agree.

Weak-minded? Not really, that's only because the countries they represent have no real power.
No, they're proper scum just like your politicians. Spineless corrupt personal gain-seeking pussies is more like it.

The way I see it, this has nothing to do with the actual people who govern. Each country's position on the world map of power is what defines the actions of its representatives.

That's obviously true, and hence why I stated he could be a jackass, infact he was one.

But, if anything, then the country wasn't as messed up as if it is now.

But YAWN, I ain't gonna state more obvious facts.

Seriously, if you think about it, how many Iraqi died since 2003, till now. I bet, that's it's not even close to how many of them died because of Saddam, taking the time into consideration.

its messed up because they cant get along with each other in that country.  I am sorry it takes nerve agent and mass graves to control them.

and most of those deaths you claim are caused by other arabs.

But, the questions is, how many lives did the war save?

I edited my above post.

Stop repeating the same thing, it's way too chaotic over there. The war didn't help, and never will.

I couldn't give a fuck if Iran gets nukes to be honest, I've stopped caring. I'd imagine it would make about as much difference to my life as when Israel got their nukes.
